What you said about our services:
Excellent service. Even when our budget was really low we insisted on maintaining our subscription. Thank you.
The choice of books and resources are wonderful as we are a small school and cannot afford to stock all that SLS provide.
Staff are helpful and go out of their way to find relevant and useful resources. The resources are always of a good quality.
What we do
North Tyneside Schools library service has been working with schools for over 40 years providing high quality resources with specialist advice to schools throughout the North East.
The service provides a low cost alternative to buying books and resources that will date and deteriorate quickly. SLS gives access to a far greater range of new books and resources for the curriculum and meets requirements across all subjects. This is why the majority of North Tyneside Schools continue to borrow from SLS.
Based in Killingworth, SLS has a large showroom with space to browse the stock and access the support and advice from the team.
Showroom Opening Hours:
Mon - Fri 9am - 5pm
